Do you remember your favorite book from when you were a child?
For the next month and a half, we will be working on studying, writing, and publishing children's books! Students will be learning the elements of writing books and how to apply those elements to their own stories. Once students have learned how to write a children's book, we will be practicing what we have learned and going through the publishing process. Once the books have been published, we will all have the opportunity to order a copy (or more) online. If any student wants to order a personal copy (or more) there will be a cost involved. Cost will depend on the individual book design.
I am excited about teaching this unit and I believe students will be excited about this major project as well.
