Children's Books - Fun features

This week we discussed the features that authors use that make a book fun. In order to write a good book, your audience must find it entertaining. For small children, this may include writing in a way that they can predict what is going to happen next. Children who can not yet read, love to think they can!

Children's Books - Setting

This week we looked at the setting of children's books.

Computer roll out!!!!! YAY!!!!

This week, students will be getting their computers! They will only receive the netbook if I have received both forms signed by a parent or guardian. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this. My period 1 English class will be receiving their netbooks on Wednesday (April 6th) and my period 3 English class will be receiving them on Tuesday (April 5th). All students will be shown proper use and care of the netbook and technicians will review policy 311.
