Week 2 - Book Clubs
This week, my students will be using a new strategy to help them understand what they are reading. The strategy requires students to sketch three significant events that occurred in a text plus one event they predict might happen next and briefly explain their choices. I have suggested that the students make notes of events that they believe to be significant and then choose from the list before recording on the graphic organizer. Also, students should read the entire selection for the week before predicting.
